In the mouth this is a clear, clean, precise funnelled tunnel of deep black fruit flavors—clear and attention getting as a coastal blast of fresh air. Chewy chocolate chips, raspberries and red plums blasting their energies. Attack of chocolate chips wrapped around red cherries followed by a harmonious mid palate of taut tannins, lean acidity, velvety fruit, mocha wafers and a finish of lemon drops and menthol. Complex, attention grabbing, succulent and well layered. Pair with blackened salmon, goulash or a soy rice bowl with chunks of roasted chicken.

VV Wine

Fine fragrance, herbal spices, stone, floral notes, dark cherries, cassis and RauChâteau On the palate, robust, juicy, straightforward and again with a lot of character, it has precision, has a lively effect, the tannins are of very good quality and the acidity is right. Balanced, elegant and with a lot of terroir character in the finish. It's fun and will mature well. Bravo!

Falstaff

Deep ruby, opaque core, purple rim. Black cherry nose with a hint of cassis, fine tobacco spice and fresh orange zest background. Medium body, fine blackberry fruit, nuances of plums and nougat, integrated tannins, mineral-salty finish.

Decanter

The tannins grip on pretty tight from the first moment, with wild hedgerow, baked earth, rose petal and raspberry leaf flavours. As it opens up, sweet black cherry and cassis fruits arrive and there are touches of bitter coffee grounds on the finish but this has nuance and personality. Contains all four classic Médoc varieties - the two Cabernets, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

The mouth is fruity, fresh, elegant, very discreetly tight and offers a nice finesse of the grain, freshness, gourmandize, an acidulous frame as well as a nice juicy/fresh fruit, On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, bright strawberry, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with touches of lilac, cornflower, vanilla and a discreet hint of hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are precis and finely mellow.
